Virtually all the commercials we create are in a 16x9 format. One of our playback venues now requires that our spots be delivered at 2048x858. I changed my dimensions in ME to 2048x858 with the source scaling set to "Scale to Fit" as not to crop or change the aspect ratio. This centers the video file with black pillars on either side. I know I can create and overlay an image over the black bars, but is there a way to push the video to the left, so I'm just a single black pillar to the right?
I know there is a solution that lies in creating this effect in Premiere, but I'm looking for a simple way to encode an already existing video without having to recreate this custom sequence for each spot.
