Cannot access mpeg in CS6.0.2 Adobe media Encoder. Have done clean reinstall and update still no luck.

I am running SC6.0.2 AME in several Mac Pro towers running 10.6.8. CS5 media encoder is fine with mpeg but cant get it to work in CS6. The mpeg option in the preset browser will not bring up the export settings dialog. The update from 6.0 to 6.1 was touted as a fix for this but it doesn't work. How can I get this to work?
